CREDIT SYSTEM SCORING PROCEDURE
UG / PG PROGRAMMES
The marks obtained by the candidate in each paper will be converted into grade point as given in the table hereunder. The maximum mark per paper is to be fixed at 100 (if it is less or more than 100, convert it to 100).

CALCULATION OF GRADE POINT AVERAGE (GPA)
The Grade point of each paper will be multiplied with credit point allotted for the paper. This will be substituted with the formula given below to derive the Grade Point Average (GPA). The Grade Point Average (GPA) is obtained using the formulae:

Where, C = Credit Points assigned for each subject, GP = Grade Point allotted for each subject based on the marks secured.

Part I, II papers of UG programmes, Co-curricular activities, Extension Activities, Career Oriented Programmes, Certificate and Diploma Courses are not considered for finding GPA.
The grades will be displayed along with the appropriate credit points in the semester and consolidated mark sheet. Grades will be entered in the Statement of Marks, only if the candidate has got pass in the said courses.
